This is a Tibetan Dorje (Vajra in Sanskrit) meaning both thunderbolt and diamond. Additionally, it is a weapon which is used as a ritual object to symbolize both the properties of a diamond (indestructibility) and a thunderbolt (irresistible force).
There’s a great similarity between it’s appearance and the Medicine Wheel of First Nations cultures, even the colours: Yellow represents Air & Spring, Red = Fire & Summer, Blue = Water & Fall, White = Earth
In the trajectory of the Medicine Wheel and seasons, we are right now East by Northeast (just above the yellow Dorje arm), i.e. experiencing the last days of winter and preparing for Spring – the new cycle of growth and life. This also goes for civilization and human consciousness. What we see a lot of are the violence and dissolution of the “old world order” and it’s values which are no longer very tenable. But the new paradigm of oneness is spreading it’s wings, and like the Eagle on the mountain, preparing to soar.
This is a time of fasting, purification, prayer, meditation and reflection in many of the world’s cultures and religions. Let us take some time to be quiet, go inside and hear & feel the quivering of the cosmic essence wanting to break out into a higher level of manifestation and relationship. Good things are coming (even faster if we help)! – Hugo
