Love the juxtaposition of the hot, desert plants just inches away from freezing Arctic air (40 below zero). If the single-pane window were to be opened, the plants would die. Their defence mechanisms (thorns and water retention) would not help them survive. Likewise, our beautiful planet is protected by it’s atmosphere and magnetic field (warm sunny room). Let us honour, guard and care for our Mother Earth!
We are all sensitive and vulnerable beings. May we protect one another with compassion, understanding, loving presence, a spirit of service, mindful attitude and devotion to authentic justice!
